Mbalo Brief June2026
Adolescents and young people represent a growing share of people living with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) worldwide. According to the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) 2025 estimates, about 1 million older adolescents between the ages of 15 and 19 were living with HIV worldwide.
