Statistician-General to Release Governance, Public Safety and Justice Survey (GPSJS) 2024/25 Victims of Crime Release

The Statistician-General of South Africa, Mr Risenga Maluleke, will release the results of the Victims of Crime report from the Governance, Public Safety and Justice Survey (GPSJS) 2024/25 at a media briefing on Tuesday, 26 August 2025, in Tshwane.

The report provides information on crime from the perspective of households and individuals, including public perceptions of crime and feelings of safety. It covers key crime types such as housebreaking, home robbery, assault, and theft of personal property, among others.
