Statistics South Africa to release the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) Q4 2024

Statistics South Africa (Stats SA) will release the results of the Gross domestic product (GDP) for the fourth quarter of 2024, at a media briefing on Tuesday, 4 March 2025 in Tshwane. The results will also include annual GDP estimates (sum of 4 quarters) for 2024.

Please note the following changes to the press conference proceedings:

Lockup- Access to embargoed data will be granted to media representatives at 11:00 AM

(No presentation and no cameras allowed at this time)

Press conference- The presentation will begin promptly at 11:30 AM.

Embargo- The embargo will be lifted at 11:30 AM, coinciding with the start of the presentation.
