Statistics South Africa to release the Quarterly Labour Force Survey (QLFS), Quarter 4 of 2024

Statistics South Africa (Stats SA) will release the Quarterly Labour Force Survey (QLFS) results for the fourth quarter of 2024 at a media briefing in Tshwane on Tuesday, 18 February 2025.

The survey measures the labour market activities of individuals aged 15 -64 years.

Please note the following changes to the press proceedings:

Lockup- Access to embargoed data will be granted to media representatives at 11:00 AM

(No presentation and no cameras allowed at this time)

Press conference- The presentation will begin promptly at 11:30 AM.

Embargo- The embargo will be lifted at 11:30 AM, coinciding with the start of the presentation.
