Statistician-General releases the results of the Non-financial census of municipalities for 2016<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

The Statistician-General of South Africa, Dr Pali Lehohla, will release the Non-financial census of municipalities<\/i>, 2016 (NFCM) statistical release at a media briefing to be held on Wednesday, 31 May 2017. The NFCM measures selected aspects of service delivery, including water, electricity, solid waste management, sewerage and sanitation, amongst others.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This statistical release also presents data on the number of households using the bucket toilet system and those receiving free basic services (such as electricity, water, etc.). It also features statistics on indigents and employment in municipalities across South Africa.<\/p>\n
