Minister Jeff Radebe briefs media on Stats SA\u2019s budget for 2017\/18 financial year<\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/b><\/p>\n

Minister in the Presidency responsible for Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation and Chairperson of the National Planning Commission, the Honourable Jeff Radebe, will brief the media on Thursday, 18 May on how Statistics South Africa (Stats SA) will spend its allocated budget for 2017\/18 financial year.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The media briefing will be held ahead of the Minister\u2019s Budget Vote debate, which will take place later on the day in the National Assembly at 14H00.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

An exhibition of the 28th<\/sup> International Population Conference (IPC) 2017 that Stats SA will host in Cape Town, from 29 October to 04 November 2017, will be available for public viewing in the Parliament Gallery. Also to be demonstrated at the exhibition stand will be Stats SA\u2019s innovations in data collection and data access through various data tools used by the department.<\/p>\n
