It is against this backdrop that South Africa\u2019s Statistician-General, Dr Pali Lehohla, will release the <i>Vulnerable Groups Series I: The social profile of youth<\/i>, 2009-2014 report at a media briefing to be held in Cape Town on Monday, 18 April 2016.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>This is the first in a series of reports on vulnerable groups. The report analyses the socioeconomic and demographic profile of the youth in South Africa, focusing on employment, education, access to housing and basic services, access to food, and the receipt of social grants by youth, amongst others.
