Statistics South Africa (Stats SA) is pleased to announce the launch of a new publication, \u201cMy Village, My suburb\u201d, on the Stats SA Roambi App.<\/p>\n
As the name implies, this publication gives users access to Census 2011 data at a small-area level (i.e. suburb or village). The application makes it easy to search for a specific area, and to navigate to it.<\/p>\n
Information available on the application includes demographic data like population group, age, education and employment, and household information like type of dwelling, household size, number of rooms and gender of household head.<\/p>\n
The Stats SA Roambi app is currently only available for iPad, and can be downloaded from the App Store. An Andriod version of the app is currently in production.<\/p>\n
