In particular, the upcoming 5th ISIbalo African Young Statisticians Conference in Pretoria in June 2016 and its sub-theme on \u201cThe demographic dividend and the African economy\u201d is an area which Africa should really focus on during the next couple years. There are many questions, to which I do not have answers to such as, is Africa ready to harness the dividend, what does it entail, what are governments doing to ensure that this becomes a reality and not end up with sitting army of unemployed youth.
