Young and Counting!!<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Welcome to the website of Africa\u2019s young statisticians. As the youth of this continent we are compelled by Africa 2063 \u2013 a common agenda for Africa\u2019s sustainable development, to organise ourselves in readiness to carry forward the mandate put forward by our elders in making this continent a sustainably better place for all its people. In the mid-1980s, the world rallied around a common purpose, which led to a myriad of writings on sustainable development, including that of the BrundtlandCommission titled Our Common Future.Borrowing from this line, as young African statisticians, through the ISIbalo programme, we intend to work towards a common future for Africa, and seek support from all corners of the globe towards making this a reality through us.<\/p>\n
