Key findings: P6410 - Tourist accommodation, June 2026

Measured in nominal terms (current prices), total income for the tourist accommodation industry increased by 1,0% in June 2026 compared with June 2025.


Income from accommodation increased by 2,4% year-on-year in June 2026, the result of a 2,6% increase in the number of stay unit nights sold and a 0,2% decrease in the average income per stay unit night sold.


In June 2026, ‘other’ accommodation was the only positive contributor to the 2,4% year-on-year increase in income from accommodation, rising by 8,6% and contributing 3,2 percentage points.


Income from accommodation increased by 3,6% in the second quarter of 2026 compared with the second quarter of 2025. The main contributors to this increase were:

  • ‘other’ accommodation (7,0% and contributing 2,6 percentage points); and
  • hotels (2,1% and contributing 1,2 percentage points).

Seasonally adjusted income from accommodation decreased by 0,4% month-on-month in June 2026, following an increase of 0,7% month-on-month in May 2026.
