Sales at constant 2019 prices: results for July 2026

Measured in real terms (constant 2019 prices), wholesale trade sales decreased by 1,1% in July 2026 compared with July 2025.

Seasonally adjusted wholesale trade sales increased by 6,2% in July 2026 compared with June 2026. This followed month-on-month changes of -2,5% in June 2026 and -7,5% in May 2026.

In the three months ended July 2026, seasonally adjusted wholesale trade sales decreased by 6,8% compared with the previous three months.

Sales at current prices: results for July 2026

Measured in nominal terms (current prices), wholesale trade sales increased by 6,7% in July 2026 compared with July 2025. The main positive contributor was dealers in solid, liquid and gaseous fuels and related products (16,7% and contributing 3,9 percentage points).

Wholesale trade sales increased by 4,7% in the three months ended July 2026 compared with the three months ended July 2025. The main positive contributor was dealers in solid, liquid and gaseous fuels and related products (18,2% and contributing 4,2 percentage points).
