Key findings: P4141 - Electricity generated and available for distribution, April 2026
Electricity generation (production) decreased by 9,0% year-on-year in April 2026. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation decreased by 1,7% in April 2026 compared with March 2026, following month-on-month changes of ‑1,4% in March 2026 and -0,8% in February 2026. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation decreased by 1,8% in the three months ended April 2026 compared with the previous three months.
Electricity
distribution (consumption) decreased by 5,0% year-on-year in April 2026.
Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution decreased by 1,3% month-on-month
in April 2026, following month-on-month changes of 2,4% in March 2026 and -0,6%
in February 2026. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution increased by
0,8% in the three months ended April 2026 compared with the previous three
months.
