Key findings: P4141 - Electricity generated and available for distribution, March 2026
Electricity generation (production) decreased by 7,1%
year-on-year in March 2026. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation
decreased by 1,6% in March 2026 compared with February 2026, following
month-on-month changes of -0,5% in February 2026 and 1,4% in January 2026.
Seasonally adjusted electricity generation decreased by 0,8% in the first
quarter of 2026 compared with the fourth quarter of 2025.
Electricity distribution (consumption) decreased by 3,5% year-on-year in March 2026. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution increased by 2,1% month-on-month in March 2026, following month-on-month changes of -0,2% in February 2026 and 0,1% in January 2026. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution increased by 0,8 in the first quarter of 2026 compared with the fourth quarter of 2025.
