Key findings: P4141 - Electricity generated and available for distribution, February 2026
Electricity generation (production) decreased by 4,0%
year-on-year in February 2026. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation
decreased by 0,2% in February 2026 compared with January 2026, following
month-on-month changes of 1,5% in January 2026 and -1,4% in December 2025.
Seasonally adjusted electricity generation decreased by 1,5% in the three
months ended February 2026 compared with the previous three months.
Electricity distribution (consumption) decreased by 3,5% year-on-year in February 2026. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution was flat in February 2026 compared with January 2026, following month-on-month changes of 0,3% in January 2026 and 0,4% in December 2025. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution increased by 0,2% in the three months ended February 2026 compared with the previous three months.
