Key findings: P4141 - Electricity generated and available for distribution, May 2025
Electricity generation (production) increased by 2,3%
year-on-year in May 2025. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation increased
by 1,5% in May 2025 compared with April 2025. This followed month-on-month
changes of 0,2% in April 2025 and 1,0% in March 2025. Seasonally adjusted
electricity generation decreased by 0,1% in the three months ended May 2025
compared with the previous three months.
Electricity distribution (consumption) decreased by 0,4% year-on-year in May 2025. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution increased by 1,6% month-on-month in May 2025, following month-on-month changes of 0,4% in April 2025 and 1,3% in March 2025. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution increased by 0,1% in the three months ended May 2025 compared with the previous three months.
