Key findings: P4141 - Electricity generated and available for distribution, April 2025
Electricity generation (production) was flat in April 2025 compared with April 2024. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation increased by 0,1% in April 2025 compared with March 2025. This followed month-on-month changes of 0,9% in March 2025 and -2,8% in February 2025. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation decreased by 2,4% in the three months ended April 2025 compared with the previous three months.
Electricity
distribution (consumption) decreased by 2,8% year-on-year in April 2025.
Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution increased by 0,4% month-on-month
in April 2025, following month-on-month changes of 1,2% in March 2025 and -2,9%
in February 2025. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution decreased by
2,2% in the three months ended April 2025 compared with the previous three
months.
