Key findings: P4141 - Electricity generated and available for distribution, January 2025
Electricity generation (production) increased by 5,7% year-on-year in January 2025. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation increased by 0,4% in January 2025 compared with December 2024. This followed month-on-month changes of -1,5% in December 2024 and 0,7% in November 2024. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation decreased by 0,4% in the three months ended January 2025 compared with the previous three months.
Electricity
distribution (consumption) increased by 0,8% year-on-year in January 2025.
Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution increased by 0,2% month-on-month
in January 2025, following month-on-month changes of -0,9% in December 2024 and
-0,1% in November 2024. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution decreased
by 1,3% in the three months ended January 2025 compared with the previous three
months.
