Key findings: P3043 - Manufacturing: Utilisation of production capacity by large enterprises, November 2025
The utilisation of
production capacity by large manufacturers was 77,8% in November 2025 compared
with 79,1% in November 2024, a decrease of 1,3 percentage points.
Eight of the ten
manufacturing divisions showed decreases in utilisation of production capacity
in November 2025 compared with November 2024. The largest decreases were
reported in the following divisions:
- basic iron and steel, non-ferrous metal
products, metal products and machinery (-3,9 percentage points);
- radio, television and communication
apparatus and professional equipment (-1,7 percentage points); and
- glass and non-metallic mineral products (-1,6 percentage points).
The following divisions recorded rates of utilisation of production capacity above 80% in November 2025:
- food and beverages (83,4%);
- radio, television and communication
apparatus and professional equipment (81,1%); and
- electrical machinery (80,2%).
