Production: results for June 2025

 

Manufacturing production increased by 1,9% in June 2025 compared with June 2024. The largest positive contributions were made by the food and beverages division (6,0% and contributing 1,4 percentage points) and the petroleum, chemical products, rubber and plastic products division (1,9% and contributing 0,4 of a percentage point).

 

Seasonally adjusted manufacturing production was flat in June 2025 compared with May 2025. This followed month-on-month changes of 2,2% in May 2025 and 1,6% in April 2025.

 

Seasonally adjusted manufacturing production increased by 1,5% in the second quarter of 2025 compared with the first quarter of 2025. Seven of the ten manufacturing divisions reported positive growth rates over this period. The largest positive contributions were reported for the petroleum, chemical products, rubber and plastic products division (4,3% and contributing 0,9 of a percentage point) and the motor vehicles, parts and accessories and other transport equipment division (9,8% and contributing 0,7 of a percentage point).

 

 

Sales: results for June 2025

 

Seasonally adjusted manufacturing sales increased by 2,4% in June 2025 compared with May 2025. This followed month-on-month changes of 2,1% in May 2025 and -0,5% in April 2025.

 

Seasonally adjusted manufacturing sales increased by 1,2% in the second quarter of 2025 compared with the first quarter of 2025. The largest positive contributions were made by the food and beverages division (3,3% and contributing 0,8 of a percentage point) and the motor vehicles, parts and accessories and other transport equipment division (5,5% and contributing 0,8 of a percentage point).
