In November 2025, 3 104 092 travellers (arrivals, departures, and transits) passed through South Africa’s ports of entry/exit. They were made up of 729 108 South African residents and 2 374 984 foreign travellers. Foreign arrivals, 1 263 598 were made up of 32 009 non-visitors and 1 231 589 visitors. The visitors consisted of 291 935 same-day visitors and 939 654 overnight visitors (tourists). The breakdown of the tourists by region is as follows 242 940 from overseas; 674 435 from SADC countries; 20 956 from 'other' African countries and the country of residence of 1 323 tourists were classified as unspecified.
